An eclectic menagerie of heavy metal, tribal, medieval, and fusion — with leather, steel, and a lot of fire. IGNITION combines daring fire arts with martial arts, dance, and acrobatics into theatrical, family-friendly performances. Fire breathing, poi, staff, whips, batons, hoops, palm torches — fully insured, permitted, and trained.
What's happening now
2026 marks IGNITION's 15th year. We're a working troupe of ~20 active performers running weekly Thursday rehearsals at our home base in Bothell, plus monthly virtual troupe meetings. Set lists and choreography are evolving for the season — recent shows leaned tribal fusion, palm-torch work, and fleshing-to-breathing transitions, anchored by Buddha's remix of Ignition.

Festivals, faires, private events, corporate parties, weddings, birthdays — we tailor sets to the venue and the audience. We work closely with local fire marshals and carry an annual fire permit with the City of Seattle.
